'Houghie' to lead Sharks in 2026

Congratulations to John Hough, the Sharks new first grade coach for the 2026 NRLWA Premiership.
'Houghie' played professionally for Warrington and Oldham in the English game, Super League and Championship, for 12 years, 29 appearances for the Wolves and 137 for Oldham at hooker and lock.
He scored 53 tries for the 'Roughyeds' many of which involved a classic dash from acting half.

In December last year John was inducted into the Oldham Hall of Fame, the 20th player to achieve   the honour.John has been very active in the game here in WA for some years, coaching at Ellenbrook and the WA State women's team.
Now a resident of Port Kennedy, Houghie and his partner Alison, are a great addition to the Sharks family.
