Round 12 Junior wrap

Round 12 saw us all heading heading north up the freeway to play South Perth (and our 13s Girls a little further to Joondalup).

The weather managed to hold out enough this week and a full day of games were had. Reports all round was it was a good day and people are not ready for it to end.

This then asks the question... should we put a few extra rounds into the calendar?

Anyway we heard from the South Perth Junior President with a great report and commending our club visit. no issues at Junior footy … great to hear and thanks to everyone buying into what we are trying to achieve at our club.

Bit of a mixed bag of results for our comp ages, big games in all grades and in true South Perth style they didn't come easy.

Reports in from Joondalup our 13s Girls were down at half time to then come back and be leading in the second half, such a huge improvement from where they all started.. they all should be so proud!

We would also like to wish a speedy recovery to our U15s player who went down in an awkward tackle which resulted in an ambulance ride ...thankfully to our experienced trainers ( and South Perth's ) they stabilised him and made sure he was safe.

Meanwhile, the 2nd half was moved to field 2 and the battle went on.

Further good news is that our 15s player has been cleared of any spinal/neck injury.
